Really fun piece of street art. I want to try and incorpirate this quirkey style of street art into my work. "The Adventures of Darius and Downey", just released by Thames and Hudson, isn't your average street art book. It follows the artists as they work, (don't) make rent, avoid arrest, go to school, move to England, break-up, scale buildings, and ultimately redefine the street art game for the 21st century

Empty containers ambling around the world, filling with beauty wherever they stop.
An urban, itinerant and adaptive art exhibit. Installations, sculptures, and paintings of the most innovative talents of the local and global artscape in many containers spread around town. A different work of contemporary art in each container, a different mix of artists in each city. Interactive containers connecting communities far away through art.

NYC's True Graffiti Problem from the Anti-Advertising Agency

This is a grat piece, activism against advertising and visual polution. Trying to put the message of advertisng is visual graffiti.

Sam3's Ugly Ducklings

"Many cities repopulate their urban rivers with ducks and swans to somehow clean their visible sewage waters. This installation hopes to clean the reality of the ducks which inhabit these sewage waters by adapting rubbish into their forms
During a whole week plastic bottles will be floated over River Segura. The bottles will be bird shaped, aquatic species, and will form groups and families. All materials used in this installation will be recycled materials and will try not to disturb the inhabitants as much as possible.
If the animal cannot adapt to its environment, the environment must adapt to the animal."

Andy Potts

These illustration have a very distinct style, Andy Potts keeps to the same kind of style so his type of illustration is more reconised. I feel that in my own work i should take this into consideration, so my body of illustration has a distict style to represent me.

Blue road

Henk Hofstra's blue road in Drachten (Holland) stretches 1000 meters long. Great piece of street art used on a massive scale to give full impact. Like how the car looks like its drowning, really quirkey.
